Let’s partner up and guide more girls into tech

Let us understand what Command Tech does

Command Tech is a fiscally sponsored 501(c) 3 nonprofit organization that uses tech to empower female and non-binary students.

The problem

Although there are no explicit rules against girls being in the tech industry, there is no welcome sign that says: “If only dudes were developing software they are solving problems only dudes have.”- Sabrina Geremia

Why:

It may be difficult for students to obtain information on the basics of coding, and many people cannot afford courses. This can help women and non-binary students gain an insight in coding, and they can see if it is fit for them!

Some examples include:

-Live interviews + Q&A

-Tech Workshops

-Contests/Giveaways

Why:

Creating events is essential for our community to learn new information! Online events can gain the attraction of many, and it is an engaging method for knowledge to be shared in comparison to an article, etc.

How you benefit:

Both parties are able to share resources and ideas to create a successful event! It is a good opportunity to gain new members to the organization. For companies, it is a way to let your employees conduct social services and training to the community, gaining publicity
